Designed as a stand-alone chart or as a companion to the Yoga Practice chart, 'Your Yoga' is an encouragement to explore and continue developing an individual yoga practice. This time it is a male yogi who creates a range of poses to provide a balance of standing, seated, lying , twisting, dynamic and resting poses as well as very useful breathing exercise (pranayama). Enjoy! The chart is a reminder for daily practice and incorporates a balanced mixture of poses and breathing exercises to invite the body to move and relax with awareness. Each pose is clearly illustrated with written points to be aware of. Printed on sturdy laminated paper. “Love the drawings. Just what I needed to inspire me to practise at home.” Bill Brown, Leeds
Liz Cook produced this chart after her yoga teacher said “it would be great to have a chart like your nutritional chart for daily yoga poses”. The chart is based on the principles of Hatha yoga and was created in conjunction with Michelle Cobbin (AIYP), who is a fabulous Brighton-based teacher. The chart is a reminder for daily practice and incorporates a balanced mixture of poses and breathing exercises to invite the body to move and relax with awareness. Each pose is clearly illustrated with written points to be aware of and the key benefits of the asana. Printed on sturdy laminated paper. “Your charts are so beautiful and informative.” L. Waldie, Hull.
This wall chart is a fantastic activity chart for children (and adults) that will help ensure their daily intake of the nutritious fruits and vegetables in the recommended five portions a day. The chart has been fancifully hand drawn and painted to make it especially attractive to children. The way it works is this: Each member of the family chooses an animal for the week and as they eat particular fruits and vegetables from the 5 colour categories they put their sticker in the appropriate column for that day. Each member of the family can see who has had what each day and if everyone gets at least 5 items. This is a fun way to teach conscious healthy eating. If you keep track of how each person does each day prizes can be given to the ones who have covered 5 items for each day of the week. The chart has a wipe clean, laminated finish. There are seven each of five different animal stickers, enough for a family of five.
We know that it is better to eat local, seasonal UK produce. Better for us and for the planet. We often don't, as we are not really sure what is in season... At least most of us aren't and hence this chart... A decorative, at a glance, general guide to which popular U.K. fruit and vegetables are in season. It shows which produce is available all year round, which for some months only and whether from stores or fresh. Happy Eating.
Liz Cook decided to research the most popular and effective remedies, and drew all her findings on an easy-to-read, quick reference wall chart (Lavender and Tea Tree oils are real stars). Full colour printed on high-quality laminated paper, this, like all her charts, is hand drawn and written. “I love your wallcharts.” Ms J. Samways.
